Small Things

I dream of small things that come and go
Like a warm steady wind over the cold
A cool shower on a dry, hot day
Friendly daisies on an empty table
A thank you
A hug
Time to think
A chance to correct a wrong
A new thought
A clever line
A dark quiet night
The dawn of a new day
A simple "YES"
A way around a "NO"
The power to forgive
The ability to say "I KNOW"
